Magelby’s Grill is Moving
Utah Valley staple eatery Magelby’s Grill is moving from their location at the Riverwoods to Springville in the newly renovated Trivani Square. The move will take Magelby’s away from the limelight as far as traffic is concerned, but I have a feeling the limelight just might follow them. I remember when they moved from Cottontree Square and everyone worried that the move would take them off the map. Instead, Doc thrived with good food and even better hospitality.
The move is necessary for a couple reasons cited by the Provo Daily Herald. In particular, new investors are reworking the Riverwoods shopping center and were planning to move Magelby’s to another location within the complex. The move caused Magelby’s to reconsider their leasing strategy and an invitation from Trivani’s Leslie DeeAnn Mower, who wanted the restaurant near the Trivani headquarters so that they would have a nice place to entertain their guests.
Trivani Square in ‘old town’ Springville is a wonderfully restored building which suits Magelby’s style quite nicely. I am excited for them, and look forward to stopping by when they get the grill fired up again.
