Volatility, in other words, is high. The term is essentially a measure of how much an asset’s price moves in a given period – a low-volatility bond might not go up or down more than a tenth of a percent in one day, while a high-volatility stock could shoot up or down 10s or even 100s of percentage points.

BLUEFIELD, W.Va., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ — Richard and Mary Mullins, owners of Adventures Bike Shop, located at 4009 E. Cumberland Rd., recently added UHaul truck and trailer rentals to the full-service bicycle shop.
The default retirement age (DRA) is to be abolished by October next year under new proposals put forward by the government.
Currently employers can make staff retire at 65 regardless of their circumstances. The new plans allow for a six-month transition from the existing regulations, following the announcement in the Budget that the DRA would be phased out from April 2011.
These measures, says the government, will help and encourage people to work for longer against ‘the backdrop of demographic change’. Others include reviewing when the state pension age should increase to 66 and re-establishing the link between earnings and the basic state pension. The
CHINA executes more of its own citizens than any other country, and more than all others in the world combined. “Thousands” of Chinese were executed in 2009 according to Amnesty International’s annual study, which states that an exact number is impossible to determine because information on the death penalty is regarded as a state secret.
